Motorola has announced an addition to its premium smartphone family with the launch of Motorola Edge+. The latest Edge device is powered by the Snapdragon X65 Modem RF-System and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset that can connect to 5G networks with "blazing-fast" speeds.
Motorola Edge+ features a 6.7" 2400x1080 Max Vision OLED display that allows for less pixelation in full HD resolution. It also comes with a 4,800mAh battery and Turbo Power technology, with support for 15W TurboPower wireless charging. Moreover, it also has the capability to share power with other devices that support wireless power-sharing.
It has a 60MP selfie camera and two 50MP cameras with ultra-wide sensor and built-in Macro vision that allow users to shoot with 32x more focusing pixels through "instant all-pixel focus", eliminate unwanted shakes with optical image stabilization (OIS), and record videos that meet HDR10+ standards for color accuracy, color range, brightness, and contrast.
The new Edge comes with Dolby Atmos, two large stereo speakers, and Snapdragon Sound technology to deliver an enhanced audio experience. Motorola has also included a stylus with an adaptable folio. With availability varying by country, the folio with the smart stylus will be sold separately or as an in-box bundle.
The unlocked Motorola Edge+ will have a limited-time price of $899.99, which is $100 off its regular cost, at launch. The latest device will come in Cosmos Blue, and Stardust White colors, and will be available in North America as Motorola Edge+ and as Motorola Edge 30 pro across select markets in Latin America, India, the Middle East, Asia, and Europe in the coming months.
