Steven P. Administrators Posted April 29 Administrators Share Posted April 29 For some reason my RGB lighting would stop staying on between Windows boots, and since the Z390 Pro WiFi relies on the RGB Fusion 2.0 app to control it (no option in BIOS) I was kind of stuck. I found a guide online that may or may not have helped https://techartful.com/rgb-fusion-not-working But what helped me was to run the RGB Fusion 2.0 app as administrator, set my preference and then open task manager and force quit RGBFusion.exe Because I noticed when the lighting would not stay on, upon shutting down or rebooting, one of the first things that happened was the lighting shut off, normally that didn't happen until power was cut from my PC (or was fully turned off) so this kind of indicated to me that the app was doing something. After I rebooted I started RGB Fusion 2.0 app as administrator and my saved lighting preference immediately enabled the RGB lighting (I did not have to configure anything) at this point I used Windows 10 Task Manager to quit RGBFusion.exe and the RGB lighting stayed on, to further test this I rebooted my PC again and the lighting stayed on again as normal. To elaborate, although I did delete the AtiTool folder from C:\Program Files (x86)\Gigabyte\RGB fusion and renamed GvBiosLib.dll to GvBiosLib.bak from the above linked guide, these steps probably didn't do anything to fix it. Hope this helps someone. hellowalkman 1 Share
